ALL RULES INTERPRETATIONS ARE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE OFFICIALS, AND THEIR DECISION IS FINAL.

 

  1. Class are subject to change. Please check this website and http://www.ottpa.ca and http://www.swotpa.com periodically.  OTTPA General Rules apply to ALL LOCAL classes.  (see www.ottpa.ca)
  2. “Super Semi Trucks” is an exciting new OTTPA Class.
  3. All Non-circuit & Local Classes must register by 6:00pm, day of the pull with OTTPA (go to registration booth by the announcer stand.) A “day hook” fee will be charged.
  4. 16,000 lb Field Stock Tractors:
    • 16,000lb Field Stock Tractors shall conform to the OTTPA General Rules. (see http://www.OTTPA.ca)
    • Tractors shall conform to the LOCAL TRACTOR rules posted on OTTPA website (see www.OTTPA.ca)
    • Tractors are subject to technical inspection
    • Drivers shall wear approved helmets while pulling.
    • Tractors shall have stock block, crankcase, head amd chassis
    • Tractors shall have stock model fuel injection pump for the make and model
    • Any turbocharger shall be stock for that engine and model tractor.
  5. Local Street Semi Truck: Limit 10 entrants, must live within 100kms of Glencoe Fairgrounds.  There must be at least 3 participants for this class to run.  Pullers will as a minimum be required to comply with the OTTPA General Rules (see www.OTTPA.ca)
    • Hitches which adapt to the 5th wheel will be loaned at the fairgrounds, to Local Semi Truck Competitors, for the duration of their pull.  Hitch must be removed at the end of each pull attempt to be used all other trucks.
  6. No prize money is currently offered for these classes, just “bragging rights”, however 1st place finisher in each class will receive recognition, and/or have their name added to any existing class specific trophies, and will be refunded their admission fee, by the Glencoe Agricultural Society.  (Note: If Sponsorship is received for these classes, prize may increase.

  10. “D” Hitching Device: Dimensions of the hole, square or oval, shall be a minimum of 3 inches wide and 3.75 inches long.  From the rear point of the hole to the rear point of the hitcing device shall be a maximum of 1.5 inches.
